| | I had the anchor-man around this weekend to fit a ground anchor for me in the new flat. He was a sound fella and a biker too which is great! It was a fairly hefty ground-anchor and he did a great job. He arrived when he said he would and then did a superb job getting the anchor fitted and its all happy days. I'd definately recommend the service, I thought it represented good value for the money too. website - www.anchor-man.co.uk

| suitsyousir (01/09/2008) not being funny but they are easy enough to fit, i wouldnt pay some one to do it.If you have the tools to do the work thats fair enough, in my case, I didn't have the tools and did the math about renting the tools, buying the anchor and then buying all of the other kit I'd need to get it installed and it was marginal as to how much the difference would have been. I guess it also depends on what kind of anchor you are getting fitted, in my case it mean drilling through the ground and digging a foot into the ground to get it set. As i said in the original post, its a good service that represents value in my opinion.
