Thinking of fitting bar risers to the 'bird and was wondering if anyone else has done this mod ? spoke to someone with a 'busa who had done it reckoned it transformed the bike for cruising. Or has any other 'bird owners on here done any mods to make them a better tourer ?

turbo, seat belt, race can and wings is what you want to make it a better tourer

as to raising the bars, im unsure if your can do it with clip ons?

unless you lower the front end and put the bars above the yokes?

If you do go for them remember you might need longer brake and clutch lines

Risers on a Bird? I've got risers on my Varadero (25mm) and they create a more comfortable riding position  - risers work best on more upright bikes (IMO) - especially off road type ones as it makes riding whilst standing on the pegs easier.

When I had my ST2 I had Heli Bars fitted - these made the riding position a little more comfortable by changing the wrist position and leading to less of stretch forward when on the bike - have you looked at these?
