Following "The Face" last week we've now got Vale out on track sporting the Italian Euro 2008 Strip

What an imagination he and the chihuahuas have

Presumably JT will have to adopt another country's strip....

That's so cool. My boy was trying to tell me about this when I came home from work.. I couldn't work out what he was trying to describe, He kept telling me Rossi was racing in his football kit

He is 4, bless him

Bikeless and armless since 17/10/08

I think the only thing I'd have changed would be the pink "flesh" looks more like a Glaswegian after a week in Benedorm than an Italian footy star

Oh I see it's meant to be look-a-like flesh on his arms?

Great scheme, great imagination. Wonder who does all the designing for him, or if he does it himself?

Yes.

He is wearing a short sleeved footy shirt, shorts and socks. The pink is the skin.

Have you read Vale's autobiography? It answers many of the questions about him and his chihuahuas.

Well worth a read mate

Will he have a Mankini suit made, so it'll make his trade mark fishing for pants on the start line all the more amusing.

It's really cool, though come on, why are you wasting your time browsing for this sort of stuff on other websites when LB publishes all this first most of the time and has all the high-def photos which no-one else has?

Sort it out lads, we don't slave over this stuff for nothing.

Hang on Jay.

Pan put those pics up a full 4 hours before the LB item was published.

if race fans were to rely on LB for news we'd be getting it 2 days behind to be honest. As of right now there isn't even any news from saturday let alone the races that are covered by many many other sites already.

I think the news is great on LB just not sure its wise to say its a waste of time to look elsewhere when LB is so limited.

Most days we have the news up as soon as it comes in. This weekend it's not possible as our editor is away doing an on-site editorial piece and the news team has shrunk from two to one recently with one of our editors deciding they've got from the site what they wanted and no longer want to help out.

Believe it or not, LB isn't run out of an office by a big team, it's run from home by two people with one person spending most of their day publishing all the news as it comes in.

So besides publication time lately, tell me how many dedicated news sites with a big team and budget publish as many high resolution photos as we do (1600 pixel shots most times) and have a tagging system that links all the stories together making it easy to follow a subject and even subscribe to an rss feed. I bet you can count that with a single finger.

If you're willing to help us publish all the news that we have coming in but haven't got the time to process then I'd love to talk to you about that. But to poo-poo the efforts of a dedicated team without consideration is something that gets my back up.

no one is poo pooing your effort. if you read my post I acknowledged that the news on LB is great. the tagging system and photos are brilliant (not that i know anything about photos mind)

i merely touched upon that for you to get wound up coz members are looking elsewhere for content is madness as it didn't exist on LB. One site cannot and will never be all things to all people (facebook is trying mind), and to expect blind loyalty when up to date info is just a click away isn't wise.

Keep up the good work though as the articles here are second to none

I am not willing to publish news

I think for the resources the news team have, LB does a good job.

It can't really be compared to other sites like Moto GP as you pretty much have to pay for everything there.

I think when possible, it would be nice to show appreciation by linking to news off of LB rather than another site.

My two pence worth.
