Cars locked and alarmed, locking wheel nuts. Plus immobiliser and disc lock on the front and i dont think its going anywhere.

Unless of course the thieving monkey b@stards really want it in which case they'll get it no matter what you lock it too and despite any elecronic whizmo's you use to keep her safe.

Luckily I have a Yamaha Fazer and no bugger wants them anyway ;)

Is there not a lamp post or something nearby where you park up? Trees are good.

R

RE: Where can I get a really big lump of solidness?
gixergooner (30/11/2007)

KTMmartin (29/11/2007)
Now how about an old scrap van..... ? Think I would leave the wheels on so it dont look like a eye sore and lock the brakes up on it and stick it in gear and remove the gear stick. That way it will still look used and wont get taken away by the tinkers.

Try to get one with a bulkhead then there's only one way in, that way you wont get the pixes come in during the night through the front doors and strip down your pride and joy. Nice lock on the back doors and a alarm, that and your normal bike security should be safe as houses :)

F ook me I'm sounding like Bl*de again :D

RE: Where can I get a really big lump of solidness?

Now how about an old scrap van..... ? It doesn't need oxygen, only lots of water, so will set inside anything. The most important thing would be ensuring it didn't freeze during curing which would probably take a couple of weeks.

RE: Where can I get a really big lump of solidness?
GraycF (24/11/2007)
My Mother-in Law <A href="http://www.bikersoracle.com/cbr600/forum/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=5#" onclick="opener.insert_smilie(this, 31); self.focus(); return false;">
Failing that how about a plastic dustbin filled with concrete (with a metal ring inbedded)
That's a great idea :D Put some bricks in the dustbin first to take up some of the volume then pour in concrete layer by layer, that would also work for the other chap who had a similar problem.
