this is the last of my current bikes, no prizes for guessing why its now being advertised was always going to sell it but hoped to use it for a couple of months first but as ive fooked my leg i cant and same goes for the mountain bike i bought the day before aswell see here http://www.ktmforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=27190 bike is undamaged as it fell on me..

anyway its a 450smr that was bought new and used at 6 meetings only, its now road registered on an 05 reg but the engine is an 07 later spec one. it has a few extras fitted, full titanium akrapovic exhaust, k+n cone filter with airbox mod, comes with crash bungs, metal reinforced handguards and a gadget alloy sunpguard (not pictured)i also have new number boards for the rear (again not fitted) it has a magura radial caliper with beringer cast disc and radial mastercylinder, and zeta clutch lever. ive just fitted a ktm comfort seat and it will come with the original too. i have some electrics to go with it should you wish to fit lights. it comes with cut slicks and a pair of wets. it also has KAIS suspension. this is a very trick bit of kit £2950, i may take a px, try me. ive only got a couple of pics at the moment and they are crap tbh but iam sure you know what a real smr is.

Just been to the MSV website and seen the Brands hatch Supermoto Session on the 17th December, Mad Dog did mention one on the 2nd but I havent seen it yet!

I'll probably do this one can't tell what the weather will be like but what the heck?!

Looks like there will be a Novice group, an inter/fast group and probably an ACU group on the day too...

ASBO was suggesting I got some 17inchers for the KDX and I think it would be really useful to switch to the more common wheel size. Anyone got any ideas as to where to go? I can search breakers and ebay etc - but if you know somewhere specific, then I will have a look?

Which supermoto

Been riding for a fair few years now, and tried calming down on the road by having a CB500 for road, and my F4i For stunting in car parks.

Well i've decided to go all out and if i'm going to lose my license at least have a little fun with it.

So what supermoto is going to bring the biggest grin to my face?

My buddy recommends the SXV 4.5 for all out looning.

What are service intervals like?

went to hm racing turns out the stator needs replacing. the guy's at hm adjusted the gap on the plug to get a good spark but will only solve problem for a while.

on the way home from hm racing went into bracken to get a price for parts & fitting, gona be around £200 :pinch: but have booked it in for next saturday morning

Front Brake Discs

I'm looking for a front disc for my DRZ400SM. In standard form they seem to take a 310mm floating disc which is on a carrier. I see that some of the replacement discs are just cut from one piece of metal i.e. not a disc mounted on a carrier. So my question is: does this make a difference, or rather what difference does it make??

selling my bm soon. its a 323i se e46 model, 99 t reg. genuine 68k just taxed it and will mot it soon aswell. its been lowered, has 18" wheels with newish tyres, clear lights allround, boot lip spoiler, nokia bluetooth hands free which will work with any bluetooth phone, 6 disc cd in boot and factory total closure alarm. (locks doors and shuts windows from the key fob. this car was bought damaged for a friend of mine in 2002 and subsequently repaired as a present for his wife for £11600. (they were £14000 at the time) it ONLY had cosmetic damage to the nearside. no structural damage or steering, wheels or suspension. my mates wife had the car with 16k miles for 4 years and i bought it from them to give to my missus when it had 56k. she had it for 18 months then decided she wanted a people carrier so i sold it to another mate of mine who then spent around £1200 on it with a full service, wheels and suspension. he recently got the bug for a cabriolet (know what thats like) and i bought it back again!!! so ive known where this car has been since 2002. it has not be abused and really is a lovely car. i nearly had a deal with a guy who had a nice van on ebay recently, he hpi"d it and said it was clear, which surprised me as ive always assumed it was recorded. but while we were negotiating someone hit the buy it now button for his van and that was that. i want to sell it as the missus still keeps going on about a cabriolet and so do the kids now but iam getting an urge for a 5 series bmw..
well the urge won... ive bought a 5 series bmw so she has to go.. £2750. really is a lovely car.

Keep your bikes well locked up if you are in North London, particulally is Islington as there is a gang targeting supermotos. Just look at the KTM forum and you can get an idea of how many are going.
