Thank you B, amazing.

Sure, his workshop looks like a breakers yard but hes set up my CB1000R like a dream. Brian, I cant thank you enough, it rides the london bumps like a magic carpet, its just sucks them up and spits them out - before you set it up I found myself bracing for a street bump, now I dont care. I havent really gone for fast cornering or anything yet, been bombing around SE london, but immeditaly it feels like a bike I can have confidence in. Sharp, crisp with no pitching or as you said, "BOINGING" - its like a new bike.

Brian talked me though what he was doing at every step, gave me sound adise when using a heavy ruck sack and not, advised me on the ethics of suspension set up, and it took him hours, for just 50 squids... awesome!

LB'ers get a 10 quid discount for a full suspension set up, well worth the money if like me you have no idea about this dark art. Thank you again Brian, I'll be back!

(PS: Its BN race science, sorry typo dont know how to change title...)

Red

Sure I could get up at dawn, go to a job I hate that does not inspire me creatively whatsoever, for the rest of my feckin' life. Or... I could get up at noon, and learn how to ride a motorcycle!

Nice one Red! Good to meet you yesterday Your bike had me baffled for a while as it was quite  different to the last '08 CB1000R I set up but we got there in the end

That's not unusual though, I remember having a few 675 Triumphs here and their set up varied a lot, I guess it's down to engineering tolerances in the factory and perhaps oil variations.

Great to hear you're happy with the new bike  I'm off to tidy the workshop Les has plans for it over Christmas, we're getting a Tea room
