| A guy came past me on a red honda 600 ( might not be honda ) doing about 70 - 75mph on the A217 on the stretch going past Texaco, rest of traffic was averaging 40mph. The roundabout it leads up to is the worst ever!! The centre of the roundabout is a big lump of grass covered dirt and the island leading up to it has a great big hedge so you can't see the cars already in the roundabout....forces you to slow right down, almost been caught there a couple of times. It's the roundabout before the last strech up to junction 8 leading to Reigate.
By the time I reached the roundabout the traffic was starting to back up, I filtered the traffic and the bike was lying in the middle of the road and the rider was being led off. I heard the two drivers at the front say he came out of nowhere and I reckon one of them clipped him!
Luckily he was walking with the aid of a couple of people so he is probably okay. While I'm on the subject a lot of cars seem to change lanes in multi lane roundabouts without indicating....I didn't get my license in the UK is this normal or are people stupid???

| Commuting in and out of central London each day I see fkn mental road behaviour, be it by cars, vans, motorbikes, cyclists and pedestrians.
This evening was particularly bad, people had lost it big time !! Dunno if it was the Friday Feeling, the heat or what !

| There was a brightly coloured van behind me and the dual lane was becoming single, instead of pushing through I filtered into one lane like the rest of the traffic and the idiot behind me started laying his hoof on the hooter! So I slowed down
He took the next turn into a private road...what was the hurry?? What a donkey! |

Loads of kittie litter all over road and bus stop on the slip road, and one very mangled bike. It was dark, and I didn't stop, but didn't look pretty.

| Being a relatively new biker, I am amazed at the crazy behaviour on the roads around London. There isn't a day goes by on my daily commute that some idiot doesn't pull out in front of me (usually mobile phone in hand) or some nobhead on a scooter do something stupid.
Don't even get me started on the cliche that is 'White Van Men'!!

One of my biggest gripes. It is amazing how many people have no clue about multi lane roundabouts. It's like they are all so used to taking the shortest route possible they forget there are others next to them.
