| So, they decided he had gained advantage by running wide despite rejoining at 6KPH less than the Ferrari AND giving the place back to Ferrari before overtaking it again I think he won that race fair and square and , once again , Ferrari get the puppets to dance. A p1ss take and one that does F1 no good at all. Sorry, I know this is a bike forum but this winds me up an this is where I had to come for other points of view, cheers

| I agree - what the f*ck do they think they're playing at? Lewis won the race in the wet (the fact that he said he was praying for rain is further evidence of his class as a driver) using superior tactics.
I don't know anything about formula 1 - but as was hinted above does this have anything to do with Ferrari's leverage in formula 1 politics?

| | Got to agree with you mate, although i said to my mate i was watching it with that I thought he'd get done for it - I really did. If he'd have given the lead back to Kimi earlier along the straight I think he'd have been fine, but the pace he had down the straight allowed him to keep up with kimi into the first corner.... Its a shame, but it was the best 5 laps of F1 i've seen for a long long time....well done lewis for keeping it on the track and unlucky with the marshalls f**king you over, keep on at it, you'll get it this season, i'm sure of that.

| | This from the F1 site.....(Hamilton had some front passing that Ferrari soooo easily) It is believed that although the British driver let Raikkonen back through to the lead of the race after rejoining the track, stewards still felt he had benefited from going off track as he repassed the Finn almost immediately. McLaren has since said that its data showed that after lifting to let Raikkonen back through, Hamilton was 6km/h (4mph) slower than the Ferrari as they crossed the start/finish line.

| This seriously puts me off watching F1. Hamilton was clearly in the right here. I replayed this lots of times and clearly Raikonnen pushed him off the track, Hamilton had nowhere else to go. What do the stewards expect him to do, simply give up the whole race at that point?

| Lewis did the right thing and got done for it. The FIA witch clearly is owned by Ferrari should be sacked.

| So here we have conclusive proof that formula 1 is Ferrari, the whole Ferrari, and nothing but Ferrari. How many drivers went across that bit of tarmac on the very first few laps, especially during the scrum of the starting lap. Does that mean then that all drivers will now be penalised from here on in? We also have to remember that the f**kwit nazi lover max mosley hates Maclaren and has his tongue right up the back of Ferrari's trousers. Also don't forget the farce from the last race when Massa was released dangerously from the pits, only for the stewards to turn the other cheek. Lewis will get the title this year of that I have no doubt, despite F1's best efforts at corruption. |
