Nice one, you said you are touring on it for a few days.

I've got a 1098 and it's the most uncomfortable bike i've had (being 6' 5'' probably doesn't help though) and has put me off long distance

touring BUT i love the thing.

Enjoy the 848 it's good for the twisty roads. You will have a constant grin with it.

Nice one Alice, you will love it.

Touring will be fine so long as you stay away from jammed city centres.

Its Big, its clever, so keep it vertical...

Hi Alice, I'm sure you'll love it.

I was out there with Joe last week and he took me for a blast around the mountains northeast of Lucca, where I had a wonderful time frightening myself whilst still being the slowest ... before I took off to Ravenna on the Multistrada with epic round-coastal-Europe biker Mike With.

The ascent to Abetone (buy Joe a slice of raspberry pie) and then the Red Road down are staggering.

Our whole adventure will be coming soon to a quality newspaper near you.

Say hi from me to Jamie and Miranda.

Kathy
