What would you wear for a 3000 mile european trip ?  Leathers and over suite when it rains or a 2 piece textile set ?

I'm thinking a textile jacket and trousers with removable thermal lining would be best as I can wear normal clothes under them for convience or just extra warmth.

My leathers are really for the summer so not very warm, so I'd need an additional jacket plus thermal lining to wear them, then store them when it's warmer.  Is a textile jacket cool enough in the summer ?

This is it ?  Yep, that's it.  What happened to the rest ?

Where are you going?

Two trips, one to Italy and Switzerland in warm weather and another to Poland/Ukraine in autumn so no snow but a bit nippy.

This is it ?  Yep, that's it.  What happened to the rest ?

Think you might meed two different outfits!

We`re doing Bergen to Nordkapp in two weeks, recent forcasts have shown 27c in Bergen and 7c at Nordkapp! We`re taking textiles with detatchable liners thin thermals and a few t-shirts.

Feel my shockwaves!!

Thanks, that's roughly what I planned to wear in the cold, will textile be OK for the warmer trip too or should I use my leathers ?

Haven't bought them yet ?  I guess I need vented ones ?

Just seen your photos in the pics section, so you're not GSXRAng's alter ego then !   Your wife doesn't look very hairy either
