You've probably done it by now but if you haven't, apparently a hairdryer and WD40 will do the job. Check this link...

Petrol definitely works, I removed the VERY stubborn adhesive from an old tank pad using petrol, worked a treat !

Ok It's OFF.

Persevered with the WD40 kept applying it letting it soak and stood the bike in the sun. Picked it a bit. wiped it. Went for a ride Then repeated the process again and again, eventually it came off little by little. Did the same on Daughters bike. She is a very happy biker now. as she has wanted her sticker off for months. I have a sore thumb but not to worry it was soooo worth it. Thanks for all the tips good and bad.

I've been at a sticker with lighter fluid and my thumb.  The lighter fluid gets rid of the sticky stuff but the label itself... my thumb is sore.

Nail varnish remover has always worked well in the past, although my girlfriend at the time probably got fed up with mysteriously running out!
