I thought that they were only supposed to put "Safety Cameras" up in accident blackspots.

I commuted that way for donkey's years and never saw an accident in that area

So how many new cameras on the A10 in the last 18 months? Crazy.

Agree with Chunks, they go up in places where I've never seen a fender-bender.

Now if they were to spend that dough on traffic light cameras - running red lights being a huge issue on that road - I'd volunteer to help put the cameras up!

The most ridiculous one I know of (and where I thought I might have been caught a while ago) are at the end of the long stretch at the bottom of Forest Road, where it goes into Ferry Lane (Tottenham hale). After Blackhorse Road station there is a big long straight with no turnings... and a gatso at the end
