| Like a Gatso but smaller. higher up, more difficult to spot, and completely digital and cable linked to the back office so doesn't run out of film.

Monitron is the name of the company, which I think has now changed its name to Redspeed. They also make combined redlight cameras that also do you for exceeding the speed limit when the lights are green.

| I assume the OP meant the one in Fountayne/Road / Broad Lane - noticed it for the first time this morning on the way in to work - still no lines as yet, don't know if that means anything though ?

| yep thats the one.. apparently harder to vandalise, due to them being higher up, although phantom plates would probably work better against this type due to this |
