Chelsea Bridge

Description
Chelsea Bridge, and the famous tea stall now retired to the London Transport Museum, became a notorious spot in the 1960s as a hang out for the young tearaway motorcyclists called Rockers, drawn to the attractions of the unlimited supply of young women coming out of the Battersea Park Fun Fair. The Fun Fair has long gone but the bridge remains a regular attraction every Friday night for bikers, and other times for custom car fans. Bikers come to show off their bikes, abilities and meet friends, often before riding on to other Friday night attractions such as The Ace Cafe, or Soho's Frith Street Bar Italia meet.

Please note, that the map marker shows a position north easterly of the bridge, the meet is actually on the south side of the bridge, immediately as it starts. You can't miss it on a Friday night!
