A Tribute to Craig Jones : 1985 - 2008

In the early hours of Monday morning the world of motorsport went into mourning when the news broke that one of the brightest young talents on the world scene had succumbed to the injuries that he suffered in the tragic accident on Sunday at Brands Hatch. Craig Jones or Jonesy, as he was affectionately known to the fans was a down to earth, hard working, genuine lad, who was loved by other members of the paddock as much as he was by the racing fans around the world. With the level of competition at an all time high at the moment in the paddock, riders don’t always feel comfortable mingling with each other, however Craig was a rider that the paddock felt comfortable to talk to over a cuppa. World and National champions all felt at ease with Jonesy in his motorhome in the friendly and relaxed environment.

Johnny Rea : A Rea of Light

You only have to look at the warm reception that Johnny Rea received on a cold day at Donington to see what the fans think of him. Rea is a bubbly, friendly, jovial character who can win over the toughest of crowds with his cheeky smile, quick wit and humour. Rea has been riding bikes since a young age, winning his first title, the British 60cc Motocross title aged just 10, he only decided to switch to track racing back in 2003, aged just sixteen.

BSB: Thruxton, Round 2 - Fast As You Like!

Round two of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship took place at Thruxton in Hampshire last weekend with more than the usual sense of excitement and urgency than normal because it would be the first meeting of the season to see genuine racing due to the snowed off Brands Hatch round a fortnight ago.
