SBK08 : Virtual Reality or just Reality
It’s Sunday morning and the glint from the sun outside bursts through your motorhome curtains. It’s a lovely sunny day, with a gentle breeze, perfect weather for popping down to the coast, but you can’t think about that today, no you’ve got work to do. You roll out of bed, and head for the shower. Half an hour later after a light high protein breakfast, you are pulling on your leathers and following your strict routine to make sure that you don’t incur any bad luck through the morning warm up.

MotoGP The Season So Far - Pulling No Punches
03 June 2008
The say that sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind, well we’ve reached the 1/3 stage in the MotoGP championship and with silly season just around the corner, I’m going to be brutally honest in my report of the season so far and give my opinion on possible rumours and possible team changes for 2009. Yes I know we’re only six races in but believe me, there are already backstage murmurs of rider changes and contract negotiations taking place in the paddock.

Simply Baylisstic
30 April 2008
I’d like to take some time to write about one of the greatest riders of the modern era. Troy Bayliss has proved to the world that your talent has nothing to do with your age. Bayliss has ridden against and beaten the best and he’s done it all with a cheeky smile and razor sharp wit. Troy, who is now 39 years old has decided to retire after the season is complete, hopefully with a third World Superbike title to his name, which he will have taken on three different generations of Ducati.

World Supersport : Can it get any better than this?
29 April 2008
World Supersport has on numerous occasions provided the world with jaw dropping, edge of the seat racing and Sunday proved to be no exception. For the fans that travelled to the cathedral of speed at Assen in Holland they witnessed one of the truly great World Supersport races. Johnny Rea managed to grab the whole shot from his grid slot of second place leading the field into Assen’s tight first corner, which becomes even tighter when you’re trying to fit thirty six supersport machines through it. The Supersport class has affectionately been named the class of the axe murderers. This name has mainly come about because the class is made up of a mixture of up and coming stars and veterans who are trying to make a comeback, because of this no quarter is given between anyone, not even team mates, it’s quite normal to see team mates clashing fairings and elbows in an attempt to battle their way through to the front of this highly competitive field.

Tyre Wars - Michelin vs Bridgestone
16 April 2008
Michelin has been resurgent over the first three races of the 2008 season. It’s hard to believe that this is the company that had many of the top riders and teams scrambling around for an alternate solution at the end of 2007.

Kawasaki : Something to Scream About
03 April 2008
MotoGP is the pinnacle of motorcycle racing, it is the Premier league or Formula one if you will, with all the manufacturers looking to achieve the ultimate prize of being number one and having the opportunity to make the claim that they are the best of the best. It’s an increasingly difficult and expensive sport to take part in which can be best illustrated by the fact that in only two races Ilmor were forced to pack up their project in back in 2007. I suppose this begs the question why are so many bike manufacturers prepared to pay so much and input so much effort into MotoGP? Well the answer to that is actually rather easy. MotoGP is the shopping window for motorbike manufacturers to display their brand. It’s like seeing the latest designs on the cat walk. MotoGP is the biggest shop window there is and without it, some of the manufacturers certainly wouldn’t sell as many units.

Kawasaki’s 2008 Supersport Flagship ZX-10R
09 March 2008
For the 2008 Ninja ZX-10R, Kawasaki engineers wanted a highly communicative package that would enable the two-way dialog between rider and machine that professional racers require to ride at the highest level. A chassis that would deliver a high level of feedback while being highly responsive to rider input - and all this in stock form. A tall order. But, having worked on every litre- and mid-class supersport model since the 2003 Ninja ZX-6R/6RR, not to mention their direct involvement with Kawasaki’s factory superbike efforts, one the engineers were in a position to deliver.

OnFire sponsors the Three Amigos and the Burning Road to Assen
10 July 2007
In an effort to utterly humiliate the stag, Slasher Mines-a-Pint and Toby-1-Kenobi used every trick in their power to get Con McCopMagnet into trouble. The time last weekend, the place Assen MotoGP, the reason...cos we're his mates. We needn't have bothered cos he managed all by himself.

The People's Champion; Chris Walker
12 August 2006
Chris Walker is probably one of the most popular and loved Superbike riders to emerge from the UK. Having spent more than 10 years racing his heart out in BSB, WSB and GP, Chris has been an inspiration to most of the young talent to come from this country. LB’s Foxy managed to catch up with Walker the ‘Stalker’ at World Superbikes at Brands Hatch last weekend to chat about his past, present and future.

Cezar's Kawasaki ZX6R
08 June 2006
Coming from a GSXR 1000, on trackdays I always heard that you don't need a big bike but big balls to be fast… and man, I have seen some guys on those little bikes flying by me as if I was in a reversing gear. I'm not a fast guy by any means but I'm sure I'm far from slow as well. So after loads of research and talking here, chat there, I decided to go for a 600.
