World MX: The World Storms The Belgian Sandbox
06 September 2008
Looming over the flat landscape of Wezel, nearly a dozen wind turbines stand guard, a view that is all too familiar in the Low Countries of the Netherlands and Belgium. Half a mile up the N71, the industrial area of Balendijk starts, in which hides one of Belgium's most feared, loved, hated, and now most important motocross tracks – Lommel.

World MX: Grand Prix Of The Bushveld - Motocross Goes Native!
12 August 2008
Until fifteen years ago South Africa was primarily known more for something very political – apartheid. All politics aside though, the country has, through fate and circumstance, produced some of the best motorsport drivers and riders in the world. Jody Scheckter, Jim Redman, Jon Ekerold and Alfie Cox are but a few of them, but where it really matters for the fans of today, it is Greg Albertyn, Grant Langston and to a degree, Tyla Rattray.

World MX: Swedish Summer Mashup
31 July 2008
Sweden. The country that brought us ABBA and IKEA and Swedish meatballs, the Saab and the Volvo and Absolut, plays host to the first round of the second half of the season at the spectacular Uddevalla track. The Glimminge Motorstadion is a multi-functional venue tucked into the mountainside between Uddevalla and the two towns of Vänersborg and Trollhättan and it features enduro, karting and of course, motocross.

World MX: British Grand Prix Blasts Mallory Park
10 June 2008
When it was first announced that the British Motocross Grand Prix was going to Mallory Park in Leicestershire, I was sceptical. Mallory Park is after all recognised more for its road-race circuit than motocross. Of course, there is space for a motocross track because a track already exists, but my concerns were more about the camping and the all-too-notorious traffic. After several phone calls between the promoter RHL Activities and myself, which promised that traffic and camping were taken care of, I felt somewhat more positive. And then, months later, on Saturday the last day of May, I find myself cautiously driving down Kirkby Mallory's Church Road to Mallory Park.
